WEEKEND BRUNCH SPECIAL; Indian “Poor knights” (french toast)

Personally, this is one of my favourite brunch things. It is like the french toast but much more tasty and healthy. It is great to make if you have bread, milk or eggs that are soon expiring! It is very easy and pretty luxurious… Actually this maybe could go under the category of “STUDENT SPECIAL”.

8 slices bread (white or wheat is fine)
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon garam masala

1 tablespoon ground cumin
1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Olive oil for frying

Serve with sweet chili sauce or ketchup

1. Whisk the ingredients together so it becomes an even batter

2. Heat up olive oil in a pan

3. Dip the bread in the batter and fry

4. Serve hot, dip in sweet chili sauce or ketchup. ENJOY!!
